Keep your little bug cozy with Cozibug

February 24, 2010

Cozibug offers a variety of blankets and baby items with a style and flair unmatched by other brands.  You can trust this mom owned company with eco-friendly and quality that your baby deserves.  We (moms) will get the style we deserve!

The owner, Sonia, was kind enough to allow me to review the Cozi Stroll blanket.  Let’s get the specifics out of the way:

  • measures 30″x40″
  • plush back
  • 100% cotton front
  • machine washable
  • lightweight and breathable
  • made with non-toxic dyes (now it may sound like a no brainer to use non-toxic items for baby products but believe me you have to be sure these days)

Okay, I pretty much copied that off the website.   You didn’t stop by to read what the website says, right?  You need a real mom’s impression of the product.  Okay I have three words…are you ready?

It is FABULOUS!

The blanket comes in a matching pouch that is perfect for storing the blanket or even a few baby toys to throw in the stroller.   DISCLAIMER:  The bag is NOT a toy and should not be given to your baby as such.  I am simply saying you could use it to store something else…maybe a wallet…keys…something…while your baby is snuggled in the blanket.

The colors are brilliant and hold true even after washing!  The plush backing…well..it’s just sinful that I don’t have that on my blanket.  Babies get all the good stuff, huh?

The size is perfect for the stroller, swaddling, playing picnic, snuggling up with, or sleeping in the crib with (for a much older child).

The blanket is so appealing to both mommy and baby that both me and my 18 month old (and even my 4 year old) oooed and awwwed when I opened it.  My 18 month old said, “MINE!”  That’s toddler talk for a thumbs up.  My 4 year old even wanted one!  Honestly, if the thing came bigger, I’d take one.

You will not be disappointed with the quality or style of this product.  Let your baby be the envy of the play group, the diva of the playground, and voted most likely to be stylish by using a Cozibug!

Wow mean mama you become pretty nice when you get a free product, don’t you. As you stated you just copied off the website, that is really reassuring to your readers. The product is overpriced and the simple circle style doesn’t speak of style but rather it looks like the Target logo. Other reviews have shown that the blanket is thin and the towel is not very absorbent, both do not hold up that well after a few washes. Next time please try out the product for some time before you review it.

First of all, I have two of those Cozibug blankets. I also have two small children who have put those blankets through the ringer. I have washed each of them MANY times and the colors are still bright and the backing is still intact. It’s a soft blanket yet durable. I had the blankets for a month before typing up my review.

I tried to look up other reviews on this product and I did not find any that state what you are stating. Not saying it does not exist…just saying that when I google it my blog comes up first and then nothing but ads and praises for the product.

What I copied off the website was the specifics of the blanket…the size and particulars. I don’t memorize that but someone may have been interested. The rest of my review was MY opinion. If you do not like my opinion that is fine. What makes you think that other reviews are superior to mine??

I will admit the blanket is overpriced….but I also know of a few moms who actually bought them so who am I to say what is overpriced for someone.

As far as style…that is a matter of opinion. I liked it. I am sick of pastel baby blankets and happened to like the bright colors. Besides, there are other styles.

Free product? Yep..the product was free…I plainly told every one that it’s NO secret. In fact, almost every product on my blog was free. What product reviewer do you know that does not get free products? If they are paying they are getting ripped off.

Well, I tried to email Sara to thank her for her comment regardless of it being insulting. I welcome ANY opinion. She had every right to say what she wanted…she did not use bad language or anything of that nature just spoke what she felt. I just do not appreciate being accused of dishonesty for a free baby blanket. LOL..that is laughable! I mean really…WHO compromises integrity for a blanket? Yes, it’s overpriced…I did fail in stating that…thank you Sara for pointing it out. However, I had a great experience with the TWO I have and still have. In fact, I had one kid get sick on one and it still washed up fine. Oh well..to each his own.
